The piece of writing that I am most proud of is an unfinished piece of original fiction that I wrote for my Writer's Craft course in 2010. Word tells me it's 1129 words long, but it's really the first 350-ish words that I love the most:

I love the imagery that I put in here, I love the difference between the dream and reality, and I love the characters, although not much is really known about either of them at this point. When I opened up this file six or so months after having written it, I barely recognized it as my own writing and I felt actually dizzy with pride that that had come from my pen.
